About

Intro

I am an engineering student in Mumbai working on machine learning and software. I like systems where being wrong is expensive, so I spend as much time on how something could fail as on how it works.

Working on now

Two projects take most of my time at the moment. The first is my B.E. project, which looks for wheat rust in satellite data. Radar scenes from Sentinel-1, optical scenes from Sentinel-2, and weather records are turned into one time series for each parcel, and a transformer then reads each series to decide whether the crop shows rust. The labels come from village-level surveys, and the final evaluation is still in progress, so I do not report results from it yet.

The second is Magnite, a desktop app that downloads, runs, fine-tunes, and queries language models on the user's own computer. The interface is written in C++ with Qt 6, and it supervises a local Python backend built on FastAPI.

Background

My degree is a B.E. at Thakur College of Engineering and Technology in Mumbai, from 2023 to the present, with a CGPA of 8.69. The coursework behind this work includes artificial intelligence, machine learning, database management systems, data structures and algorithms, data science, object-oriented programming, operating systems, and web development.

From December 2025 to January 2026 I worked as a web developer intern at Oasis Infobyte. I delivered three frontend projects with React and Tailwind CSS, optimised the assets, and added lazy loading.

Beyond code

I am a Rotaract Club member at TCET and take part in its community service. I play football, which has taught me a good deal about teamwork and discipline, and I play guitar at college cultural events.
